BURN THE FLOOR
IN SAN JOSE

From September 21-26 at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, you'll be able to catch one of the most exciting and talked about Broadway shows - Burn The Floor. This unique show brings ballroom dancing to a new level, with an international mix of stars and styles, including cast members from Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. It's already had some incredible reviews from the New York Times and sounds like quite a show. We raffled off some tickets at Plant 51's After Hours event in August and everyone was super excited to get their hands on them - so don't miss it!

You can get all the details, show times and tickets right here.

MUSIC IN THE AIR

This is a great month for music in San Jose! If you haven’t been up to the Mountain Winery Summer Concert Series, September is the time to go. With headliners from Sheryl Crow to Harry Connick Jr. to Willie Nelson, the calendar is full of great shows this month. The series ends the first week of October, so this is your last and best chance to catch a concert this season. You can check out the complete concert schedule, right here.

Carrie Underwood is also coming to town later in the month, with her Play On tour scheduled for September 27th at HP Pavilion. You can get more details and ticket info right here.

SEPTEMBER SPORTS

It's getting sharky! That's right, the NHL preseason starts this month. We're looking for another exciting year from our Sharks and some incredible games down the street at HP Pavilion (as many of our Plant 51 residents found out last season, there's nothing like walking from your front door to the front row in a couple minutes). So get ready for some action.

While you're waiting for the hockey season to heat up, you should check out one of the upcoming San Jose Earthquakes soccer games. Major League Soccer is a blast, the action is close and fast. And the Quakes are having a pretty stellar season so far. So get out there and have some fun!
